Central Florida’s unique natural setting and vibrant communities are key elements for its future. As we focus on the year 2045, one of MetroPlan Orlando’s planning goals is to protect the region’s public health and environmentally sensitive areas.

To discuss how we’re shaping the 2045 Plan so that transportation has the desired positive effect, join us for a live Health & Environment Webinar, 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 19, where you can learn more and get answers from experts. If you are passionate about public health or the environment, this webinar will cover vital topics, such as health indicators, resiliency planning, and conservation. We’ll also introduce the Healthy Mobility Tool and talk about environmental equity and land uses, as they relate to transportation.

The event will be on the Zoom web conferencing platform, and it will be live-streamed on our YouTube channel. It will include ample time for your questions and comments.

Registration is easy and free. Click here for details on how to register and for information about other 2045 outreach efforts. You can learn more about the 2045 Plan here, including all the goals and objectives for our region and how we hope to accomplish them in the next 25 years.
