You’re Invited to Comment on our LRTP Public Involvement Plan

MetroPlan Orlando invites the public to read and comment on our Public Involvement Plan for the 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan Re-adoption. The plan will guide public involvement for the re-adoption process, expected to be complete in December. A 45-day public comment period is required. Comments will be accepted through Sept. 8, 2015.
The draft plan will be presented to MetroPlan Orlando’s committees in late August/early September and will be presented to the MetroPlan Orlando Board for action on Sept. 9, 2015.
At the time of posting, a draft plan was available for comment. The plan since has been approved by the MetroPlan Orlando Board. Read the approved plan below.
To improve regional consistency, MetroPlan Orlando is changing its long range transportation plan schedule. This requires an update and re-adoption of the 2040 long range plan. The re-adoption process includes public involvement to increase citizen participation in the transportation planning process.
