MetroPlan Orlando is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide support for staff to accomplish various transportation planning functions relating to its Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP). Many of these tasks are required by the Fixing Americas Surface Transportation (FAST-Act). The work involves providing assistance to staff on a work assignment basis in a variety of planning, technical, and graphical activities. The length of the contract is two (2) years with an option to extend one (1) additional year, a maximum of three (3) years. See full Scope of Work and bidding instructions below. Sealed proposals must be submitted and received by mail or in person to the address above no later than 12 pm, Thursday, February 13, 2020.

- Q: How will questions about the 2020-01 General Planning Consultant RFP be answered? A: Questions about this RFP must be received by noon, Thursday, January 30, 2020. They must be in writing and can be emailed to RFP@metroplanorlando.org or mailed to: Director of Finance & Administration, MetroPlan Orlando, 250 South Orange Avenue, Suite 200, Orlando, FL 32801. All questions and responses will be posted on this page within two (2) business days of receipt.
- Q: Is there a sample agreement or terms and conditions available, that you could send out so that we may review? A: A sample contract may be obtained by emailing a request to Finance@metroplanorlando.org.
- Q: Will Signal Timing work be included in the GPC contract? A: No, retiming of traffic signals will not be a task issued under the GPC contract. MetroPlan Orlando procures signal retiming services in a separate RFP. However, the GPC may be tasked with conducting before and after studies for the signals that have been retimed.
