The final draft of the 2045 Plan is available for review. The MetroPlan Orlando Board will take action on the plan on December 9. The public comment period at the meeting will be the last opportunity to comment on the plan.
The 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan is the long-term vision for how Central Florida’s transportation will grow. We’ve taken comments from the public and partner agencies on the first draft version of the plan originally posted on October 16, 2020.
Adjustments have been made to the plan documents based on comments received and now the final draft version is available for review. This is the plan that will be presented to the MetroPlan Orlando Board on December 9, 2020 for adoption. You can go on a virtual tour of the draft plan here.

Last Opportunity to Comment
The last chance to comment on the 2045 Plan will be at the MetroPlan Orlando Board meeting at 9 a.m. on December 9, 2020. This meeting is being held in a hybrid format and the public can watch and make public comments virtually from the comfort of their homes. A limited number of people can attend in-person due to physical distancing measures (RSVPs are required if attending in-person).
If you are planning to comment virtually or in-person, please fill out an Electronic Speaker Card and select “comment on action item” on the form.
More About the 2045 Plan
The 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan resulted from more than a year of robust technical planning and public outreach. The 2045 Plan identifies current and future needs based on several factors. The plan is updated every five years to reflect the changing dynamics of the region. Projects must be included in the plan to receive federal funding.
