Residents Can Comment on 5-year Transportation Improvement Plan

You can still submit public comments on MetroPlan Orlando’s five-year plan, the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), until Tuesday, July 5. A public hearing on the TIP was held June 20.

The TIP includes all the federal and state funded highway, bicycle and pedestrian, transit, transportation disadvantaged, and aviation projects that are scheduled for implementation over the next five years in the region.

The plan covers fiscal years 2016/17-2020/21 and  includes transportation projects in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Some locally funded projects are also included for information purposes.
